A lot of my illustrations start with something small I notice at home like flowers from the yard, an old object I love, something my family brought inside, or a combination that made me want to draw it. These pieces are built from those real little moments rather than generic reference art, which is why even the decorative ones usually have a bit of our everyday life tucked into them.
